Hey, I'm Ella Dawn.

Hey, I’m Ella Dawn Burgess -  the brain + eye behind HAUS OF DAWN.

After years of working inside marketing agencies and leading countless client projects across branding, social media strategy, and digital design, I noticed a pattern: gorgeous visuals without purpose, or visually unappealing strategy. I started Haus ofDawn to change that—to create a space where creative storytelling and intentional marketing live side by side.

I grew up in a creative household and naturally gravitated toward the arts, but it was my fascination with psychology and behaviour that pulled me into business marketing. I became obsessed with understanding what makes people click - literally and emotionally. That desire led to a degree in Business Marketing, years of hands-on client experience, where I deepened my knowledge of consumer behaviour, content psychology, and strategic communication, and eventually, the leap into building something of my own!

My passion lies in uncovering the why behind brands - getting to the root of what makes them unique - and reinforcing that message through strategic content, intentional design, and copywriting that tells your story. I believe that strategic visual storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have to build connection, trust, and recognition.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Hey, I'm Chase.

While much of my work happens behind the scenes, my role is focused on supporting the operational foundation that keeps Haus of Dawn running smoothly. I manage the administrative and organizational side of the business - from invoices and documentation to internal workflows and systems — ensuring that everything on the back end is structured, efficient, and dependable.

I grew up around entrepreneurs and business owners, which gave me an early understanding of both the opportunities and challenges that come with building something of your own. Seeing firsthand the dedication, pressure, and persistence it takes to run a business shaped the way I approach my role today.

Because of that background, I deeply understand the mindset of founders and the realities of entrepreneurship. My focus is on creating the structure and support that allows creative and strategic work to thrive — ensuring details are handled, systems stay organized, and nothing important slips through the cracks.

While I may not always be client-facing, I take pride in being reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in supporting the business from within. My goal is to help create stability behind the scenes so the team — and the businesses we support — can continue to grow with confidence.

Why "Haus"?

Haus of Dawn was created from a deep desire to bridge intentional design with effective marketing strategy - a place where you don't have to choose between the two. 

The name "Haus" is an homage to the modernist design movement Bauhaus, which emphasized that form should also follow function, and that true art blends art, craft, and technology with simplicity and functionality.

"Haus" is also a German word for house - and at Haus of Dawn, you’re getting more than just a service. You’re entering the full ecosystem: a space where intentional brand design, soul-aligned content strategy, and digital marketing thrive together under one roof.

2024 - 2025

Barlume Inc. 

At Barlume, I managed social media strategy, full content creation shoots, graphic design, copywriting strategy, and video editing for a range of clients, ensuring each brand’s voice and visuals align with their goals and audience. I also lead branding and web design projects—developing visual identities, designing conversion-focused websites, and executing cohesive digital marketing strategies that drive real growth.

2023 - Present

THE TEN SPOT

At THE TEN SPOT, I own the full social media strategy and execution for two beauty bar locations, focusing on Instagram Reels and Shorts to increase visibility, boost engagement, and drive bookings. Through trend-informed content and consistent posting, I've elevated profile views to over 40K monthly, positioning the brand as a standout in the local beauty space.

2023 - 2023

Social Rise Inc.

At SocialRise, I managed social media content for over 15 platforms, creating and scheduling posts for multiple brands using tools like Buffer and Meta Business Suite. I also produced short-form video content using CapCut, TikTok, and Instagram Reels to boost engagement and maintain consistent brand presence across channels.
